Fotomedia continues to work with Digicel on a wide variety of platforms, delivery creative, video, photography, print and online assets.
For the television commercial, Fotomedia conceptualised and executed the idea of the SP Hunters thundering through the highland jungles of Papua New Guinea, passing the eyes of locals and finally arriving on the beach where players dove into the water, disappearing, on their way toward Queensland Australia for the Intrust SuperCup. The final scene shows the eccentric tribes and people of Papua New Guinea cheering towards the ocean.
The commercial had a very tight turn around time, from travelling overseas to shoot on location, to completing the edit back in Australia within a few days. Fotomedia post-produced, graded and delivered the project to a delighted client who loved the look and story of the final product.
Fotomedia also carried out the photography element of the campaign. Selected images were graded and carefully post-processed in Adobe Creative Suite, where players were deep-etched and placed in a dramatic stadium setting.
