Fotomedia was engaged by L’attitude Creative to produce a 60-second television commercial with strong Good Deeds brand awareness.




Fotomedia delivered a fully animated product which leveraged off the established Good Deeds brand – colourful, fun and conversational. The commercial featured a single photographic element – a still photograph of the talent – amid an array of post-production and animation effects designed and created by Fotomedia.


Fotomedia first storyboarded the rough flow of animation, then deep-etched the still photograph in Photoshop and composited it into each scene. Adobe Creative Suite was used throughout the project, with Illustrator employed to create line drawings of clouds, houses and other background elements.


After Effects was used to composite the illustrations, images, matte overlays, text files and backgrounds into a dynamic, fast-moving 2D animation.
