Fotomedia was approached NSW Health to create an animated video that demonstrates the effects that smoking has on a baby when pregnant as well as benefits of quitting smoking. The video will be used during midwifery appointments, to prompt a discussion between midwife and pregnant patient.

We created a script alongside the client to ensure that all messages were included in the animated video. Once we had developed the script we developed a look and feel for the animation that would appeal to the viewer and was consistent with the message that was being communicated. As it was a serious and confronting topic we created a soft friendly look to the animation to make the viewer feel at ease. The final product was very well received by the client.

“We recently created a 2 minute animation with Fotomedia and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. They spent the time at the beginning to understand our health message to then ensure that the factual and quite gloomy information was presented in a creative and relatable way.

The project went so smoothly – the team were super easy to work with! They listened to our feedback and were quick to make amendments and suggestions to get a great final result. We loved working with Fotomedia and would certainly recommend them to others.”
