Fotomedia was engaged to create a video and photography campaign piece which would help re-introduce the Toshiba Medical philosophy “Made For Life” through powerful visuals and emotive human connection.
The “100 Years Made for Life” campaign, developed by Gold Coast Agency Pluvo, was designed to inspire the medical audience and reinstate global confidence in the company though a unique and artistic approach. The double exposure concept was developed to make a bold statement in an otherwise stale industry, giving a powerful reminder about the company’s commitment to healthcare and passion for human life.
Visually depicting these key messages presented Fotomedia with some exciting challenges.
This execution had to instil calmness, human emotion, and communicate a relationship between Toshiba Medical, its partners and patients. The narrative had to be articulated clearly with simple messaging for a global audience. It also had to convey the story with… and without sound, in longer and shorter durations, and also be adaptable for a variety of environments.
The filming and photographing process was studio based with a large animation component. Mapping the natural environments to the curvature of the diverse nationalities created a unique look that was replicated in both film and print. All the stills and motion was shot in Burleigh Heads, with our talent coming from all parts of the world.
